Mini Cooper S Mk1 in Stunning Tartan red paintwork with a black roof.
Built in Jan 1967 the Cooper S was dispatched to Mann Egerton & Co of Norwich. The Mini has had 6 previous keepers including the Warburton family in Lancashire (Warburtons Bread). More recently it was kept in Lancashire and was bought by a couple as a retirement present and loved for some 18 years or so before being sold due to it being driven less and less. I bought the mini last year and have just finished a light refurbishment including a full windows out and panels off respray, which is truly breathtaking - hopefully you can get some appreciation of this from the photos. This is a genuine matching numbers Cooper S and comes complete with a Heritage certificate and old v5s. Other work undertaken as part of the recent refurbishment includes an all new 2020 spec Newton Commercial brocade interior with new recliners (At some point in the cars history the original brocade was unfortunately changed for an all black interior) together with a brand new correct style veltone carpet. This mini has an ultra desirable blend of spectacular new paintwork, a brand new interior, new Rose Petal alloys all of which compliment the original features of the car from the engine down to the correctly dated Items such as the wiper motor and the PCV Valve etc. The original S engine was fully rebuilt in 2006 by Jim Brindle at R.A.C.E. Engineering of Lancashire at a cost of nearly £1500 some 14 years ago! Since that rebuild I am told the car has done less than 2000 miles - it runs perfectly as you would expect and is very quick and incredibly torquey ! The car is absolutely fantastic and needs to be viewed to be fully appreciated.
